Physio Healing Hands, located in Aylesbury, Buckinghamshire, is a neuro-musculoskeletal physiotherapy clinic. Physio Healing Hands’ vision is to help people suffering from neurological diseases and conditions improve their functional capability. The highly skilled and experienced team of physiotherapists at our disposal are capable of doing this.

Sonia Jomon - MCSP, HCPC

Lead Physiotherapist

The Lead Physiotherapist at Physio healing Hands, Sonia Jomon, has over 20 years of experience in Neuro-musculoskeletal-elderly physiotherapy. She worked in different rehabilitation settings in private (The Raphel Medical Centre, Tonbridge and Royal Buckinghamshire Hospital, Aylesbury) and Buckinghamshire NHS Trust. She is also a Postural Stability Instructor (PSI) and Qualified ARNI (Action for Rehabilitation from Neurological Injury) instructor. Sonia is a passionate and caring individual who takes pride in her work and values the importance of a holistic approach to condition treatment and management. Sonia is a physiotherapist registered with the Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC) and is a member of both the Chartered Society of Physiotherapy (CSP) and the Association of Chartered Physiotherapists interested in Neurology (ACPIN) and AGILE (the Group for Chartered Physiotherapists working with older people).

Edyta Tchorzewska

Physiotherapist

Edyta has over 20 years of experience in the field of Physiotherapy. From 1999-2016 she worked as a qualified Physiotherapist in a large public hospital in Poland. She treated patients with musculoskeletal and neurological conditions such as acquired brain injury, spinal cord injury, discopathy and stroke. She obtained her Master’s Degree in 2008 and conducted classes for physiotherapy students for the next eight years. Since living in the UK, she has gained three years of experience working in a private hospital treating patients with neurological conditions and complex disabilities, along with spinal cord injury, acquired brain injury and stroke. Edyta is a Physiotherapist registered with The Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC) and is a member of The Chartered Society of Physiotherapy (CSP). She is passionate about helping people and providing them with the best care by employing a holistic, patient-centred approach.

Furthermore, we offer individualized treatment programmes using different methods such as functional rehabilitation, PNF, and Bobath. We also provide progress reports for consultants and GPS.

We also offer physiotherapy for Motor Neuron Disease, muscular dystrophy, Post-Polio Syndrome, neuropathy, transverse myelitis, ataxia, dystonia, strokes, Parkinson's Disease, Multiple Sclerosis, Guillain Barre Syndrome, spinal cord injuries, head injuries, and Cerebral Palsy.

Referrals

We accept referrals from all sources, but the most common ones are self referrals, referrals from medical professionals, referrals from careers and family, and more.

On Discharge

We offer a comprehensive report detailing your significant issues and progress and information about your future requirements. The info will be shared with the patient, doctor, and other professionals if and when necessary.

Cancellation

Patients who are unable to make an appointment can contact us via email or phone. You will get the full cost of cancelled appointments if you give notice in less than 24 hours.

Private Medical Insurance

Physio Healing Hands has already registered as a physiotherapy provider with most popular private medical insurers. You might need to share your policy details and company name so that we can directly invoice them.
